One of the Ministry of Communications' chief historical responsibilities has been the management of the Imperial postal system and the issue of postage stamps - traditionally a significant source of revenue for the Empire.

Visitors can see the complete range of early postage stamps issued by the Empire of Atlantium between 10501-10504 (1982-1985) by clicking here.

Atlantium is due to reinstitute a regular postage stamp issuing programme with the release of a set of four stamps (see above) drawing attention to the the acts of cultural vandalism perpetrated in Secundus 10520 (March 2001) by the Taliban regime of Afghanistan against pre-Islamic artworks of world heritage significance. 

A mid-10522 (2003) release date is now expected for this issue, and all profits will be donated to the UNESCO Special Emergency Fund for Afghan Cultural Heritage.
